Lento has been Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Internet Service Providers Association since 2002 and has contributed to promoting Internet technologies and advancing an open and competitive Internet service market. He was elected with a high vote to the I.T. Subsector of the Election Committee of HKSAR in 2006. He was one of the earlier Internet entrepreneurs, and currently focuses on commercial services and assisting international technology investors to invest in China. Lento is a Bachelor of Science in I.T. and a Master of Economics. He is concerned about constitutional development of Hong Kong, and is also an enthusiastic community service contributor, currently serves as the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Samaritans Hong Kong.
